Better than Pattaya Beach although it could be cleaner

A sprawl of dirty umbrellas and beach chairs. Unpleasant to walk on the beach. Would never bring a child here, unless you want to discuss prostitution. This and Pattaya Beach could be the worse 2 beaches I have ever visited. I hope to never return.

Very clean, reasonably prices drinks and food all around and a great crowd. Forget Pattaya, which is dire, this is a much more up-market, welcoming place. Clearly welcoming people of all ages, shapes, nationalities, with a high percentage of gay visitors. Massage available on the beach and ample chairs and umbrellas for reasonable rental.

The family face of Pattaya. Europeans . Russians abound and some of the sights on the beach are not for the faint hearted. Some nice near waterfront restaurants. Easy 40 bht ride on a songtau from town and only 20 bht home.

This beach is very much less quieter than the Pattaya beach and is also much cleaner and the water is filled with less junk than it.It is also a good destination to swim or relax around the beach as it is filled with less people and is less commercialized than its neighbor. There are plenty of cheap Thai snacks available from... While Pattaya Beach is famous for its extraordinary nightlife, Jomtien Beach is a quiet ,sleepy area that fits families . So if you are a bachelor, go to Pattaya, if you are a family , go to Jomtien. If you want some night fun , you can take a pick up van taxi and go to Pattaya Walking Street in... More

In case you are looking for a beach experience in pattaya then Jomtien can be the option. I personally didnt like pattaya beach at all, in fact its not even closed to being called a beach. Jomtien is a decent beach with very good properties and eatries around.

Jomtien Beach is a long strip of clean sand and blue looking sea with interrmittent netting for swimming. A road runs along it and across from the beach are a 1000 restaurants and outdoor places for sipping a cold drink and watching the blue water and palm trees and people sitting/lying under umbrellas on the sand. Jomtien has it all... More

Not the best sand (coarse) and dirty Nothing special. Prefer beaches further south. Lots of massages and chair rentals available on the beach if that's what you're looking for. Tons of restaurants available along the boardwalk.
