I thought it was a sanctuary for elephants but I was very disappointed.
3 elephants not looking happy, 2 with chains on their legs. And set up for paid elephant rides, photos with tourists for money.
Apart from that 3 parrots, goats, sheep, snake but looked very neglected.
Small cafe for drinks.
A show, ladyboys dancing but not in any coordination, poor singing, most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen.

To say this place is hell on earth would be an understatement. The pictures of these elephants alone speak more than enough words. The blatant use of elephants for riding, shows, bathing, and so on for tourists is absolutely horrific. Please educate yourself on the ethics (or, definitive, lack thereof) in elephant riding and shows.

What's even more sickening is the advertising of "rescued" elephants from forced labor in oil plantations and so on, knowing that their current living conditions are very much forced labor with immense abuse.

This is a must!!
Such an amazing day out
The children and adults alike all loved it here
We got to hand feed animals fruit and vegetables
Which was an amazing experience
Being so close to elephants was mind blowing, we fed them and they were so gentle

The food and drink in the cafe was delicious too

Animal concentration camp. Elephants hit with sharp sticks and chained up. Don’t support this establishment.

The Elephant and cultural shows were superb. The price of entrance ticket for foreigners was high than for the nationals.

Horrible experience, saw Elephants feet chained together after being beaten with sticks so tourists can ride them.

This place was awful! They hurt the elephants and use their pain as a way to guide them and make them do what they want. This is not a sanctuary, but a for profit monstrosity.

Elephants are chained and beaten to perform tricks, this is not a sanctuary but a circus, by going you are just promoting and encouraging cruelty to elephants

Did this experience as part of a holiday excursion off a cruise ship, thought it was going to be a bit Corney after the stage show, but very interactive had some photos done that weren’t over expensive. A worthwhile trip & experience 45mins from laem chanbang, port.

Elephant rides included, and pics of various animals don,t go if you are looking for an ethical trip.
