Very nice temple -- would recommend stopping here. Unfortunately, we came too late to visit the museum which is in the same place, so try to get here earlier in the day if you can (I believe they close at 3.30 pm).

Would say that this temple is off the usual tourists' list, as there are certainly more locals than tourists at this site! Its not a very big temple, however, one can certainly feel at ease on the peaceful ground of the temple!

We could not find any reclining buddha in the gardens but it was very peaceful in the temple. It has multiple buddha (by day) and what praying to each one may do for your spiritual health.

I greatly enjoyed my visit Wat Phra Thong. Its easy and fast to get there from any place in Phuket island and absolutely worth the trip. Take your time to read the legends about the Phra Thong statue.

Beautiful setting and away from all the noise of Phuket town. Very uplifting experience. Full of tourist from around the world.

Great place to visit, quieter than the other temples we visited, but it was raining! We weren't there long, but it was lovely. Peaceful and beautiful. We thought it was worth the visit.

Phra Thong temple is less touristy and less crowded. Half-buried Buddha is very impressive. Peaceful place to spend your weekend.
