It's really nice when they shut down any of these streets from traffic, so it was enjoyable to stroll the night markets. It has all the usual stuff, both touristy and clothes.

Streets closed off for market which is a welcome after bustling with the traffic during the day! Found that most things were cheaper here at night than shops selling the same during the day. Some stalls are repetitive but is good because you can negotiate and if you think price is too high you can walk along and try at... More

I enjoyed a visit here and made a few buys - just be sure to haggle as even if the price seems reasonable you can bet they've asked for more. I couldn't believe you could buy from a big range of handbags for under 100,000 dong! Don't waste too much time shopping around as even though there are hundreds of... More

heaps of street food on offer, lots of clothes and bags and shoes etc but do need to bargain and have a laugh while you are at it - everyone is in a good mood. It is really busy but that is part of the attraction

We have both been to a lot of Asian markets, and we both enjoy them. This one is good. Lots of clothes on offer. The prices are reasonable, but not cheap.

Maybe it was just that Hanoi was my last stop and I had already been to a few night markets but I was just starting to find I was seeing the same thing over and over at each market. Nothing differed from city to city. You also do get over being hassled to buy and you need to very much... More

The night market is mainly open from Friday to Sunday. Many people coming out for drinks, music. It's a fantastic experience to sit at road side cafe and have a drink like a local. My fiancée and I bought some clothes but frankly there are not much good choices. Price is cheap anyways.
