We booked directly through Indochina Sails directly (thank you so much Ms. Oanh, you were so amazing and accommodating!!!!), and from there, Ms. Oanh arranged all our travel arrangements from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay and we arrived at lunchtime. Ushered onto a small boat, we were welcomed aboard by the staff (see pic of the funny masks). We had... More

We opted for the two day one night trip, and arrived at the office about 11:30 and when the group was assembled the crew transferred the luggage to the boat and passenger ferried out by tender, once aboard were given towels and a drink as David gave the safety briefing and Thom gave out room keys. The cabins are fantastic,... More

We spent a couple of weeks in Vietnam on a family vacation and used Vido Tours at each stop (our guide's name was Lam). We knew we wanted to spend a night on a Junk in Halong Bay and they strongly recommended Indochina Junk Sails. Based on what we saw on the water, they are the top company for this... More

We broke the budget with this overnight trip to Halong Bay but it was worth it. The food was amazing and rooms were very clean and comfy. The boat was spacious and all the staff was very nice. We kayaked and it will be a highlight of our travels. We made spring rolls, fished, climbed the island, and did Thai... More

We spent 3 days/2 nights I've new year and had a great time. Staff were very helpful and made my wife lots of delicious vegetarian options despite there being plenty buffet options for her. Itinerary was busy. We especially enjoyed the kayaking through the cave/arch to a hidden monkey island (if you follow the 3 day itinerary)! We got confused... More

Halong bay is amazing so you should pick up a boat that won't spoil the view. This boat will definitely don't spoil it. Very clean, large room, good service. The food is average . Take a room with porch and enjoy the silence

Halong Bay, about a three hour drive northeast of Hanoi, is an amazing attraction, with huge rock formations jutting out of the sea water in great profusion. The spectacle of these gigantic formations, particularly at sunset and sunrise, is unique and highly impressive. There are many overnight boat services that take visitors out for a night among Halong's islands, but... More
