You can see from oil painting to local arts; Vietnamese fine art means every kinds of objects. I think they need more refinded classification for their collection.

The museum had a wide selection of pictures as well as Statues and even attire in its two buildings and multiple rooms.

For a small fee and you can wonder through three levels of art from Vietnam. The first level had mostly ancient art/sculptures. The plates are in Vietnamese, French, and English. There are several different images of Buddha and beautiful wood carvings as well. Th next...More

After a busy morning in the Temple of Learning this proved to be an oasis of quiet and calm. Lovely display of ceramics and statuary that laid the foundations for understanding what we were to see later as we travelled south into Central Vietnam.

Nice and compact art museum that allows you to see the development of Vietnamese art throughout the ages. I would recommend about an hour and it's very close to the Temple of Literature

A fine collection of sculptures and paintings, providing an insight into Vietnamese culture over time. These collections are spread over several floors. From modern paintings to traditional heritage, you can enjoy Vietnam culture at one place. And it is well decorated so you can enjoy the beautiful paintings and status peacefully.

Small section of historic articles but otherwise was really a 20c gallery which is relatively somber and reflects the tough history of that period. Interesting building but exhibition was not really our cup of tea.
