Museum tells you some information about HCM, and Vietnamese history. We we are already for four weeks in Vietnam and liked to know something more about the history.

What a weird and wonderful museum. So much propaganda and weird symbolism and art. Very interesting and worth the visit. Don't miss the funny/dark 'art project' about the space race or something, it was hard to understand what the moving glass windows and videos about the space race was about but it was hilarious. If they offer an English (or... More

Overall interesting, especially the integration of art along with the history. However, I found it to be poorly set out and sometimes I missed the point of an exhibit. Perhaps one's experience could be enhanced by a guide.

We felt transported back to the Soviet Union days when we were in Moscow. There was the soviet style architecture, the big square and even the mausoleum for the beloved dead leader. The museum was also closed for a long lunch break. Yes, we had gone back in time! When we eventually were allowed inside the architecture inside also fitted,... More

This is one of the best museum in Hanoi that I have ever visited. Its architecture looks like a huge white blooming lostus, the special flower closed to Ho Chi Minh's life. It is well laid out with very detailed information about the greatest man of Vietnam. Very useful and informative.

This museum is brilliantly laid out - following the life of Ho Chi Minh and linking events of his life with events in Vietnam allows the visitor to get a strong feel for his passion to create a united independent Vietnam

The museum itself is good and full of content to look at. Unfortunately the day we went they for some reason decided to close early. We had no warning of this when buying our tickets. After 15 mins of being in the museum we were told to move along upstairs.Security followed us pushing us all toward the exit. When we asked what... We had a great time at the museum. It was interesting and gave us an insight into the history behind this vast and interesting country. This country is interesting as there are so many different cultures within one country.

We visited the Ho Chi Minh Museum during a full day tour of Hanoi. This is very Historic. If you are into obtaining information about the history of the place you are visiting, this is a must. It obtains information of the build-up towards the Vietnam war, during and afterwards with a lot of information and dates etc - portrait... More

The exhibits are not well curated, have a very clear political persuasion, and someone with no precursory knowledge of Ho Chi Minh may struggle. However, if you're capable of suspending your political beliefs and appreciate the history of the era and the man's achievements, you may enjoy this like I did.
