Beautiful building but not open to tourists

Second time in Hanoi and still not able to visit this historic building. Would have enjoyed seeing the interiors. Seems to be used a lot during the day.

We attended a dance performance, Lang toi, so we could see the interior. So worth the hour not only to see the classy, elegant interior, but also see a fun, fast-moving series of dances depicting Vietnamese life. Highly recommended to see Something to get inside!

I came here for the Vietnamese culture show Lang Toi. The sound quality is excellent. The facilities are great. Worth every penny. The seats...are old. If you have a bad back, bring a pillow to sit on if you're not too self-conscious to do do.

People coming to Hanoi usually go to this landmark for photograph. I advise you to visit inside. The Opera House usually opens for various performances, which are usually best in Vietnam. The interiror of the Opera House is wonderful. So as its acoustic. Strongly recommended!

We went there to see the Lang Toi show. A must see show in Hanoi. The building itself is great with locals sitting in the stairs outside, some international brand shops nearby.

Our tour guide "magically" got us into the Opera House with free access to all floors and rooms. Lovely old building and the icing on the cake was sitting in one of the boxes watching rehearsals for that evening's cultural event.

The opera house is a interesting building due to its french neoclassic style and was built in the early 1900s. It is wel worth having a look at the building and also walm around the french quarter with its wide footpaths and roads which does remind me of paris. The opera is very popular in hanoi and is a reminder... More

What a show! Simple yet modern. A world class show which will leave you satisfied once you leave the Opera House. Definitely a must see show when you visit Hanoi. You will understand more about Vietnamese traditional villages when you finish watching "Lang Toi."

Despite visiting Hanoi for the 3rd time, we were still unlucky when it came to catching a show at this lovely opera house. All we could do it admire the French architecture of the building and wish the newly weds who take their wedding photos there - all the best.
