There are stunning & interesting stories, history about military of Vietnam. From 1000 years ago to independent day 1975. The young guy like me haven't seen these things like that, just hear through my grandparents's story but today it's in front of my eyes. Love...More

Visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon so anything indoors was closed to the public, but there was still plenty to see outdoors. It was an impressive show of military weapons and vehicles from ancient cannons to large aircraft. I enjoyed that the ancient tower was...More

an interesting collection, but don't read the notes, the propaganda just drips out in a very distasteful manner. There are some great things to see though, so worth stopping off

A small but interesting museum showcasing a well maintained collection of vehicles. It’s well worth combining with a trip to the mausoleum (although go to the mausoleum first as the queue is larger and it closes earlier). I only spent 45 minutes here so it...More

This museum listed out and showed exhibits that Vietnam encountered since ancient time. But of course it uses a lot of space to show they fought against American "Imperialists". It is expected Vietnam government uses this museum as propaganda, but it is interesting to see...More

I had noticed the planes in the courtyard while driving around in our tour bus. This museum was not part of the Gate 1 tour we were on so we visited by ourselves when we had time off. I am a big military history buff,...More

The content of the museum is good, but its lighting of galleries is questionable. Management need to get a grip on the number of children it allows in at any one time. The children are rowdy, ill disciplined and the teachers have little control. Whilst...More

We did it on our own and we're pretty relaxed when we aren't with a tour group. (We were on a tour but stayed 4 extra days in Hanoi to do things on our own). 3 hours should be enough for all 3 things. I find when you are on... More
