If you are looking for authentic craft direct from and supporting Vietnam's diverse ethnic communities this is the (2) shops for you. Visit the art museum, the temple of literature, eat at Koto or Be Be Mieu and it is a day to remember.

Right next to Van Mieu (Temple of literature) this store sells sustainable and handmade products, mainly beautiful scarfs and cloths made of soft cotton or silk that are sold at a reasonable and fair price. The NPO works with people from the countryside, also training...More

These are 2 shops, across the street from one another, that have the best, most interesting, and the most gratifying handicrafts in Ha Noi. While the selection by no means includes everything that is available in the city, the products are well made and are...More

If you can spare a few coins, then pop past this fair trade shop in Hanoi. It is across from the temple of literature. It has a huge range of fair trade products and this goes back into worthy organisations to support the ones that...More

I strongly recommend this shop since it is part of a non-for-profit organization. Therefore, when you buy something you are helping traditional craft producers. I must say that the prices were very fair (most of the products were even cheaper than in regular shops) and...More

As other reviewers have pointed out, there are two Craft-Link shops in the same street, immediately across from the Temple of Literature, and the one we went into was the double-storied old building that specialises in textiles. The other shop, a few doors along, specialises...More
