Fun and eventful
Sep 2021
Worth doing just for the experience. Sit outside on the little stools, cook your own food and enjoy the atmosphere.
Food is ordinary in pretty much all the establishments but who cares. Wait for the local police to come and clear the street and move you indoors..............give it a few minutes and you're sitting back outside again.

The best place for night life
Jan 2020
Food here was amazing, i loved the way they provided a can of margarine for each table. Each pan had aluminum foil to grill your food and they will change once it get burned. Infact when it was served my son looked at me with a question mark that are we here to cook or to eat. But I must confess it was amazing especially with such a happening street and lovely environment.
While planning for Ta Hien you should come a little early and see the Lake area and take stroll to Ta Hien.

Beer street! Lots of bars and cheap meals
Feb 2020 • Couples
We have eaten here twice and had a lot of drinks. Average price for local bottled beer is 30k no need to pay more. Main courses are 70-150k, vegetarian stuff available. Whether you want a quiet chat or to Rave, you will find something fun.

Vibrant
Dec 2019 • Couples
This is one of the most vibrant places for night life in Hanoi. There are many pubs with their own craft beers. It is extremely crowded. I suggest to visit this area at weekend from Friday evening. Because it is close to the traffic.

A cool experience
Dec 2019
Every large Asian city that I have been too has something similar to this, and Ta Hien Street (Beer Street) in Hanoi is no different. Even though the area was packed, it was still a unique experience walking down the street with all the chaos around. This place is worth the effort to get to for a drink, enjoy some nightlife, or just walking the street while you are in the Old Quarter.

Beer
Jan 2020
This street is narrow, no vehicles allowed and has bars and pubs for beer. Its throbbing and full of laughter and music. A lovly place to hang out and have beer and the loal dishes served with a smile. Look out for promotions. $ 25 is good enough to drink enough beer and eat huge amounts of food. One beeer is $ 1.30. Must visit post 9 pm

UNIQUE PLACE
Dec 2019
Should have been here in my youth. Too late now. In this small street one can find all to please your lascivious lifestyle's loves. Food, beer (LOTS of beer), women, and etc.,etc.
Most happening outside as one inches his (her) way up the street (tourists and locals). Boy, to be young again.

Ta Hein Beer Street
Nov 2019 • Couples
Its small and crowded, being only 200 meters long but on the street of Ta Hien there are many bars where you can find variety of Hanoi street foods such as Nem chua, Vietnamese bread and noodles alongside a wider variety of beer that you find in Vietnamese restaurants.
Most drinking is done outside on the plastic tables and chairs and although the locals get on fine with the small plastic chairs I struggled to sit on them for any great period of time.

Unique experience that is more than just food.
Nov 2019 • Friends
Restaurant after restaurant offer wonderful food to locals and tourists, sitting in the street on small chairs. Then at a moment the waitresses call loudly police, police and wrap in few seconds all the tables, with the food and with the small burning stove, with which they heat their soup or make barbeque. All the tourists make fun of the police, taking pictures of them.

Good and Bad here
Oct 2019
Ta Hien Street is great for people watching and taking photos. You can be sure to get a meal or drink here.

On the bad side, it's often frantically busy, with motorcycles winding their way through - and LOTS of people. The food is mostly 'tourist food' (chips, pizzas, burgers, etc) and not much (if any) authentic Vietnamese food. People are often rude and pushy here.

Mainly for youngsters looking for a laugh and experience.
