The countryside surrounding the tunnels is lovely, and would suggest to anyone to cycle to Cu Chi versus getting on a crowded bus there and back. The tunnels themselves, yes, are ok. I wouldn't say it is the best attraction in Ho Chi Minh City, but fine for a half day activity perhaps...so yeah, why not?

Now of course the company can't help traffic but I would research to see if there is a better way to get out to the tunnels. Most of the tour is stuck in traffic. The guide was good but a little hard to understand at times because he was forcing his jokes. But he was funny. I can't stress enough... More

We had a private taxi, and he would only wait for one hour, which was too short time. When we got the tickets, we were lucky to go with another group and their guide (guide is free when you buy the ticket) He had been doing it many times before and had many jokes he had told many times before... The history behind the tunnels is very interesting but also horrific what all the people involved did to each other was dreadful. How the Viet cong existed down those tunnels for so long is shocking

Interesting tour but too crowded. They should improve the sound quality of the documentary film. The gun shooting was really cool but expensive.

I came here for the first time in 2015. I returned this year because I enjoy the history and the humor of the tour guides. The war is a sensitive subject and humor and interjection always helps. Most places charge you $4 or $5 for the tour then when you arrive they charge another $5 (weird system, but definitely worth... More

Great trip to the tunnels, tour guide (YUMI) was fantastic, nothing was too much for her, great pace, I noticed other tour guides rushing people thru not YUMI, very interesting tour.

We were only in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) for 1.5 days and wanted to pack as much sightseeing into our one and only full day as possible. The most time efficient way to achieve this is to arrange a private tour which will allow you to visit the tunnels in half a day and you can use the other... More
