Highly recommended. The tunnel system is incredible but sad to think of the history attached to it but definitely worth a visit

Reccomend this tour, is a long drive but worth it, tour guide was very helpful and knew a lot about the tunnels, recommend to anyone in Saigon for a few days, crawling the tunnel was the best part.

Took the family of 5 on this tour, after 2hrs travel by bus we reached the CU CHI Tunnel. It was humid and we got to see all the sorts of gruesome traps. We only go in one enlarged 40m tunnel and It is very...More

The Tour was led by Jackie, someone who was actually there during the war! You'll learn a lot from him and he'll tell you stuff that they don't normally say on regular tours! If you're claustrophobic, i suggest you don't crawl inside the tunnels as...More

We took a 2 hour speedboat from Saigon to the Cu Chi Tunnels. It was overcast and a little rainy the day we went. I think this just added to the experience. There was barely a breath of wind blowing and it really made you...More

Very thought provoking and historic excursion that is recommended for those who are interested in how the daily life was in and around Saigon during WWII. You can opt for a speedboat ride from the city or travel by car. I would recommend the speedboat...More

These tunnels, and the entire experience, are some of the most daunting and impressive moments in my Vietnamese experience. If you have a day in Saigon, please consider a tour. Stunning.More

Some of the tunnel has been enlarged for tourists to access them - no way could we fit into one of the hidden entrances, but our guide showed us how it was done!!

What a lovely historical site, if you can stand confined spaces ,then you should do this tour, its lovely to actually understand wht the Vietnamese soldiers had to endure. After that , the movie is a must.

Another option rather than booking a tour is to use the local bus to go there and have a look yourself. You don't really need a guide just make sure you get there with enough time before they close for the day and take some... More

Hi it is possible to get a taxi, it will probably be a little more expensive, however it will allow you more time at the tunnels, which we wish we had, and you wouldn't be forced to stop at a specific shop and restaurant... More

It is possible to go on your own. The entry tickets are available at 110000 dong each, and taxis buses are available, but I'm not sure about the transport cost. If you are solo traveler, may not be worth the time cost.
