We stayed along this street. It's very happening at night with all the pubs around (but can be very noisy too). There are lots of eateries which you can choose for around this area. Located within district 1.

It's perfect. Visit the reunification palace, war remnants museum and the cu ci tunnels. it's a lot of history. Have fun!

It is safe but still like many places, you do have to take care of your own belonging and don't get drunk.
