About
This is the city's biggest, most authentic market. You can find almost anything you need here, from basic supplies to souvenirs. The food is outstanding and the people-watching is great even if you don't buy anything.

It’s overwhelming at first b/c there’s a lot going on & the people are aggressive to sell. They have food, clothes, knock off designer bags, shoes & trinkets. We were told the prices are high for Vietnamese standards...so you’re suppose to bargain the price down...More

All the food stalls were delicious and great beer too. One of our favourite places in Siagon I’d recommend staying nearby. Busy but worth the visit in the day and at night

An expensive place to get all stuff under one roof..lot of bargaining skills is required..the copies of every brand is available..but totally crowded and sellers are smart so you will need lot of bargaining..but a nice place for everything...

Typical viet market which sells food, clothes and lots of other things. Really cheap! It’s a must do when you’re in HCMC

If you want to go where all the tourists are sent that's the place. Prices are about double or more than in other parts of the city. Unpleasant, pushy vendors. Motto: Hand over the cash and get out.

I teeter-totted between a 3 or 4, but can't blame the market for pushy vendors. The market itself is wonderful with everything you could hope to find in Vietnam. Prices are a little higher than locals markets but hey, where there are tourists there are...More

Ben Thanh Market is a must see in Saigon. It’s crowded, busy and overpriced, but it’s the place where you can find everything. You can get a refreshing fruit juice (mango was my favorite), grab a good meal for reasonable price (60-80.000 dongs) - or...More

I loved this adventure because that’s exactly what your going to get! Started off watching a woman clean fish at a rate of 10 a minute, wow, then enter the selling zone. This hawkers are so seasoned, a rookie would be drained of money then...More
