The Cathedral is impressive from the outside. They do not open the whole day long, so I could not see its internal architecture because it was closed. It is ok to go around and visit some other landmarks like the Post Office where you can...More

This square is shared by two of the iconic buildings of Ho Chi Minh City: the cathedral and the post office . A must visit but not for the square in itself but for its surroundings.

But still the church can provide beautiful backdrop for your pictures. Ice cream vendors are fast to offer "help" in taking pictures before selling their inflated priced ice creams...well such is life. relax! cannot be too calculative yo otherwise everything would be very dull :p...More

As a catholic, I am ashamed to be one today. I was prevented to enter the church by a lady receptionist with no reason. When I took a closer look, I saw that a wedding is taking place. This is the first time, I saw...More

Their church and their statue of god are beautiful when we come here near the night. Unfortunately, there aren't open because maintenance, so we take photo at outside only.

Just a warning really - it is currently closed for renovations as at November 2018 so you cannot go in, however, still a good chance to take some photos of this lovely building from outside.

O.k. from outside, many of similar in Europe and being renovated so you can't get in. But it's right next to the Post Office so if you there, will see it anyway.

I visited the cathedral and its grounds when I was here in 2015; found it to be stunningly beautiful. Unfortunately, this time around, the building is under renovation.

Almost impossible to see/stay for than a few minutes. We might have had bad luck, as several tourist busses were there at the time. There were also quite a few 'scam' operators there. We took our photo and left

The facade was in tact for pictures, but closed for constructions. The Central Post Office is to the right of the Cathedral. Watch out for motorcycles when crossing the streets.
