Get off the tourist trail and dive into the real Ho Chi Minh City, home of the world's best street food. All Saigon Street Eats groups are small because we want you to feel like you're hanging out with friends. We offer three food-focused tours - the Pho Trail, the Seafood Trail and Street Food 101 (an introduction to street food). We are the only tour outfit in town offering Pasteur Street craft beer on our evening tours. Bear in mind our tours aren't for everyone. They are designed people like us -- people who don't usually do tours, people who want to experience local life and people who love to explore a culture through its food by eating where the locals eat.

On our trip to Vietnam we did food tours in Danang and Hanoi, and Saigon Street Eats was by far the best food and information about Saigon, as well as the most delightful staff. Vu provided helpful advice for traveling in the country, and was very knowledgeable about culinary history.

I love to do food tours, especially in SE Asia as you get a much better appreciation of the culture and the city than you would by sticking to the tourist track, and this tour, Street Food 101, was a wonderful thing. The motorbike transportation was a little scary, especially in rush hour traffic, but I had full confidence in... More

Vuu and his team are incredible! Not only knew the food and the places to take us but also just about everything else we asked them. Funny, personable and great story-teller. He also has an amazing team of drivers, especially Yuum (sp?). Best food we had on the trip! Would recommend for anyone going to Saigon!

Our tour with Binh was fantastic. They took us to places that we would not have found on our own and we got to eat virtually unlimited delicious food. The seafood place was the highlight but everything was delicious. It was also nice to be able to ask Binh and the other guides questions and learn how to prepare and... More

A friend and I took a Saturday night private tour with Vu and it was sensational. I've been to Saigon quite a few times and loved the opportunity to see parts of Saigon I hadn't seen before and to taste excellent local dishes and hear stories about different parts of the city from someone who lives there. We had an... More

Great tour and the original street food tour in HCM. Scooter ride is exciting and all food stops are fun, clean and interesting. Great to be out of the main drags and seeing and trying new things. Vu is very passionate and one hot tip would be to grab the craft beer - its very vert tasty, keep the bottles... More

The Street Food 101 tour was probably my favorite activity in HCMC. It's got everything - eating amazing local food, riding around on a motorbike, physically experiencing local culture, etc. Some of the food is not for the faint-hearted, but it's ok if you're a little hesitant, because they'll tailor the food to your tastes. I'd recommend doing this tour... More

I do food tours in every country I visit and this tour is definitely one of the top 2 food tours I've done in the world. I followed another reviewers advice and did The seafood and pho trail tour. The seafood trail was amazing and gave a great insight into vietnam's seafood cuisine. We made stops at 4 different restaurants... More

We did the breakfast tour as a family of five including a teenager and two young children. Vu and his team took us on a magical mystery tour giving us a brief glimpse of the heart of the true Vietnamese lifestyle and history. From the fantastic pho breakfast through to the picnic lunch at the temple this is a fantastic... More
