This is a stylish bar located on the lobby level of the Park Hyatt, Saigon. Elegant and chic. Having said this, you don't need to dress up but look neat. Dark wooden decor, dim lighting. Staff are friendly and pleasant. A few speak good English. They don't put non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu but just ask and they will make you one according to preference. Mine was really good. Light and refreshing as I wanted. They gave complimentary crisp too. Not cheap but worth a treat. Lovely ambience. Nice, light music so you can speak! I went early and got a window high seat (stool) table. Filled up quickly soon after. Clean. If your not a guest of the hotel, you can still go. Fast wifi. Nice atmosphere. Most guests were tourists. The bar looks out to the busy main road. I can't remember on the music but check with them as apparently they have some live DJ performances. Open from 17:00.

Gorgeous cocktails

Had a brilliant time at Lam Son, located in beautiful Park Hyatt hotel. We only came for a drink but were persuaded to stay long for an excellent night. The drinks were a bit on the pricey side, but you are paying for quality and it is delivered. The staff were polite and friendly.

good bartender in 2 Lam Son bar

The bartender, Logan, is a great, friendly and amazing bartender. She was quick. efficient. The main reason that I have come back to this bar is to enjoy the drinks made by her. She never made me disappointed her creative cocktails.

Came here a couple of time during my stay in HCM, the first time was for 'meet up' drinks on a Friday night, there was a live DJ and the place was rocking. The second was mid week before we went to the steak restaurant opposite, it was obviously quieter and no DJ but it was still a great place. sampled the cocktails and Gin and Tonics and liked them all. Great service too. I will definitely be back.

A true Saigon institution!

This place, which to every one but the Park Hyatt itself is known as Martini Bar (as opposed to the incongruous 'Lam Son 2'), is one of the preeminent meeting places for the local well-to-do intentionally minded people + of course the odd tourist from the hotel. Excellent cocktails, professional service and all under very capable management. No visit to Saigon is complete without a stop here!
PS - hope they bring back the flavoured cashews! Some cost-cutter replaced them with cheesy peanuts...

Great service but need more light

Came here with my partner for business , this place very good for you and friends to chill out. Good music. Not too loud. Staff are friendly , but sometime very hard for you if you need them. Because only 1 staff upstair to run operation. But it's ok. Good selection of wines. But a little but overprice. But i can understand for that. One more thing , upstair is too dark maybe you can set up some lights for guest to see the menu.

Best cocktails in town

Great quality cocktails in the setting of a 5 star hotel bar.

My favourite was the espresso martini - Vietnam coffee style.

The four pillars Shiraz gin and tonic was also done very well.

Will be back.

Disappointed Service!

The bar has just offered Ladies night event on Thursday: all ladies get the 1st complimentary drink from 9pm. When we arrived, the waitress didn't introduce there was Ladies night event at all and kept asking if we would like to order cocktails or wine!!! Only when we asked about the event, she said "No, it starts at 10pm". While I was double checking and finding the ads, she was standing and staring at us in order to urge us to order something on the menu. Her attitude irritated me. I felt so uncomfortable and decided to ask for manager to check the situation. Then, a bartender came and announced that the event starts at 9.30pm?!?! What a mess! It should not have happened in this kind of bar! You offer this kind of service, we didn't ask you to give us free drinks! I do not understand what is the meaning of offering such an event then denying to provide the customers the services. NEVER AGAIN!
