Saigon Outcast was born early 2012 with 3 shipping containers stacked akibo on a grassy block of land, next came DIY wood plank swings, zen garden, I-beam torri gate, fridge of beer, a half-pipe and a whole lot of good vibes. We are genuine 100% creative that love a good BBQ and basically just want to encourage creative expression in all shapes and forms. Peace, love, BBQ's and motorcycles. Please check our event page for on face book > saigonoutcast > event for more info. Note: TUES + WED are workshops days. When there are no workshops, those days can be very quiet and peaceful. THURS we have outdoor cinema screening variety of handpicked foreign films and documentaries. (Movie starts at 8, come early to find best seating) FRI Jameson Jam session: Social gathering and communal practice session. One free jameson drink for performers. (Come at 8 to Jam) SAT is super quiet if we dont have an event or private bookings. SUN is family day with music, live graffiti and usually very busy. (best come after 4) Outcast is a venue and creative space for artists, musicians, skaters etc. A self serviced bar.. Pick up a skateboard if you want to skate, buy our spray paints to tag your graffiti art, go to bar to order food and drinks. If you want excellent service and fine cuisine then this is not a place for you.

I like when you can go on different colors to challenge your self. there can be difficult ones and easy ones but I like the difficult ones.

because the restaurant was full on Sunday, we were asked to sit up stair near entrance during hot noon time which was fine for me.

What was annoyed that there was one foreigner manager there who decided that he had nothing to do but spontaneously removed the deck cover on top of our heads in the middle of our lunch (without checking in with us) exposed all to direct fierce sun & heat, i thought he needs sunlight therefore we moved to another table in shadow. But you know what, that same manager 30 minutes later just again moved the deck backward which exposed us again under direct sun in the middle of our meal again !

The look in his eyes like telling us (mom & kids) he didn’t care and he had fun doing that.

We were speechless!

I just paid and left, will not come back until they learn about proper customer services

familly place bad for familly...

that is not the first time this happen, not a good place with family... been there and the skate boarding regular literally kick out our child out of the place in a really rude way like they own the place.... avoid if you plan to have just a good times with your kids.
i have nothing again skater,i think it`s cool and they can do whatever they want in their place...but when they just think they are the kind and don`t even wait some 5 year old get out of the way before doing their stunt they just looks like a bunch of disrespectful hipster...

We enjoy the climbs only!

Instead of idling on the bed at home on Wednesday evening, we chose to do some workout and we decided to visit Saigon Outcast for push rock climbing. This indoor sport is well known to strengthen muscles and grip, boost brain function and reduce stress. We tried to make some successful climbs up the wall here at the beginner level, and we enjoyed it so much!

Avoid it, disappointing place

We came with our child ( 7years old) because on FB it was indiceted special moon festival with special activities and also board games. There were no special activities except some tiny lantern on a table displayed for kids that climb. The only activites available were the usual ones... Boards games are discarded...
We order three drinks. They forgit one.
It was expensive (drinks are awfully expensive when you consider the amount of ice in your glass) dull and boring.
It was the second time here still not convince.

Awful food and service

My girlfriend and I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and the classic burger. The pasta came quite quickly but the portion was so tiny, such a rip off. We ordered the chicken wings as we knew we would still be hungry. I was told that they would take 20 to 30 minutes but they arrived after 5? I asked if my burger was coming when they brought the wings and they said yes. They didn’t bring any napkins with the wings so I had to go to the bar and ask for some. After about an hour since ordering I asked if my burger was still coming. They said yes again and after another 30 minutes I went to the bar to tell them to cancel it and that we were going home. At the same time the burger finally appeared! I told them that I didn’t want it but they wouldn’t take it off the bill. Instead they offered a 30% discount which meant I still paid around 20k for the food that I didn’t touch. We left hungry and disappointed and won’t be coming back.

We used to love coming to Outcast for drinks and food. But recently experienced got bad. Tonight we were supposed to get a live music -not happened. Plus many mistakes from the waitresses from giving wrong beer, wrong dish, and in the bill (extra beers added “by mistake”). Above that, prices hv increased, no more vegetarian pasta option and most of tap beers tonight were not available.
Hope to get the experience we loved back
Tonight was really not at the expected level..

My 6 years old son’s dinner was not served. Asked the staff if they could serve our son as soon as possible as they were starting the adult movie night at 8.00pm. They accused me and my son for eating and lying to them. We approached the supervisor on duty informing him that dinner wasn’t served to my son - unfortunately his brain wasn’t functioning either. Bad service... Bad attitude!!!

visited this place last month, the staff are a bunch of screaming kids that have no F&B skills what so ever, food disgusting , even the many dogs that are roaming around urinating will not eat it, the live band was from another planet, no musical talent and tone deaf. Not a great place to take your kids, as I mentioned there are so many dogs there roaming around, not safe. The children running it think its hip and cool, they need to get out and see what really is hip and cool because for sure this place is not. will never go back there again, so please don't write back like your pervious responses, "sorry you didn't have a good time we will review and fix the problems, please try us again" there is way too much to fix. 100% the worst place I have visited not just HCMC, or Vietnam but the whole of Asia

Disappointing

We came here thinking it could be a nice (hip) place to hang around and have some drinks and listen to nice music or so. But honestly, this is a very boring place - super small, no people except climbers, strange music. Maybe the events are nicer, but just for drinks I wouldn’t recommend it.
