It is located around five minutes walk from Ben thanh market. I went there on 19 June 2017. The square in front of the building was under renovation. The appearance of the building was attractive. There were water colour paintings and oil paintings inside the...More

Amazing art before 1975 till modern art nowadays. Bit scared with the building, so old and bit dark. The toilet also feel like ancient toilet, kind of cute bit scary. Unlucky that during my visit so many renovation happened. Well. Overall worth it.

Some lovely pieces but mostly art from the last 40/60 years. We spent a couple of hours here but would not go back.

This is a very nice museum with a range of art and artifacts. Entrace fee is about 0.50$ so well worth it.

This art museum is a bit underwhelming and really is a shame that the building and collection are not better maintained. The building itself is a wonderful old French colonial building filled with stained glass windows that are sadly crumbling. It needs to be renovated...More

Entrance fee is only VND10,000. The museum houses many paintings and sculptures. It would be a great place to visit for art lovers. Some art works are covered in dust. It's too hot and stuffy. Not equipped with air-conditions.

I am not a creative arty guy but spent an hour here going thru the rooms. Did not appreciate most of it but generally ok. Dirt cheap to enter and the art outside and pretty building was pleasing on the eye.

The lovely building, with its' stained glass windows, antique lift, and fabulous painted walls (in parts) is worth a visit for its' own sake. I wasn't moved by much of the art, although I did like some. However, the building alone is worth it. It...More

I think John P is correct: I remember that the museum closes for one hour around lunch time. In case you are there at that time, there are pleasant restaurants close by, from the simple but tasty food stalls inside Ben Thanh... More
