Great collection of bars and restaurants and loud clubs. Ex-pat and young person central. This is the place to go out too for meeting fellow travelers and tourist central

This street is a super crowded, bustling with energy and hawkers all around kind of place. Loads of food options. Try out your pick. Try Bia Saigon for a local taste of beer.

Great buzz at night. Dangerous because of the traffic. Unlike Pattaya where traffic is stopped at 6pm for the travellers safety and for the businesses to prosper! Sad for the workers on 12 hour+ days. Definitely worth a visit though.

Came here for dinner at night and saw generally foreigners resting along the road running a little beer and food. Extremely busy street teeming with traffic and people. Smells of Asian foods. Traffic could be intimidating but learn never to stop crossing the path moving...More

At nighttime the street is all about fun, plenty of people, music and things to drink. The street is blocked off to motorized traffic. By dawn, the street is all cleaned up. Its like the Vietnam version of Freemont Street in Las Vegas

Don't expect too much class from this place. But absolutely a good place to enjoy and get wasted. Cheap beer, great crowd or girls if you get what I meant....

Good spot to gravitate to at night to have a drink and people watch. You will see your Sport in some bar being shown live. Not the quietest place.

Very good question. Tet day, most workers will go home for holidays, so expect empty streets, lack of services. Only few places open, but this street is for tourists, you never know.

By taxi is the best way to the backpackers street. Takes around 35 -45 minutes depending on the traffic. If you have uber then I recommend to use that instead as it's cheaper and you don't need to worry about getting ripped... More
