It is a pleasant spot to choose shopping, despite much less organized and more contaminated compared to Ben Tay Market. Nevertheless, it's a huge number of all kind of goods, divided by region of business and also to determine how large it was they had...More

We would suggest to visit the markets in afternoon rather than the morning. We went yesterday in the afternoon and had a good experience: able to haggle a bit and walk around at ease. We went back this morning and it was awful. The vendors...More

Very busy market with lots of people and lots going on. Pretty much anything to eat assuming you like Vietnamese food. Smells can be overwhelming to some but all in all it's a good experience to go here for an hour or two.

Before deciding to visit Binh Tay Market, it is important to do some homework because the main complex is under renovation. We were dropped off in the section selling fried fish and other products, and the overwhelming smell already threw off our start to the...More

The aisles are crowded with the same merchandise. There are not many bargains. You really have to haggle to get a good deal. It is a good place to eat a meal that is cheaper than in a restaurant.

The place was a let down. More on wholesale item.the original market is under renovation therefore they shifted the market opposite which is super cramp and just a lane for walking. Go only if you are looking for wholesale items if not don't bother going

Nothing really special about Bình Tây market, but if you’re there, walk to the Tết (Lunar New Year) flower market by the riverside at Bến Bình Đông. Asians believe certain plants and flowers bring luck for the year, so this market fills up the closer...More

The trip to Binh Tay Market was around 20 mins via taxi from Downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Unknowingly upon reaching i discover that the original market was under renovation thus the temporary market itself was situated across the road from the original marketplace. The...More

We visited this market after a long walk around the river bank from our hotel in district 1 so quite a hike but the alk there was great as you go away from the touristy center and see the everyday lives of people. The market...More

Not easy to reach there from district one. It costs 5 EUR by taxi. Very noisy and what a mess, somehow it should reflect the real life in Saigon.
