If you're traveling for the first time to HCM, you'll likely pass by or through Union Square if you're walking or biking to various surrounding areas. Worth some photos for memory's sake

Ho chi minh city has come a long way since I last visited.....It has many many malls and union square is the new addition. It's next to the popular sights so it would be good to go in from the heat outside unless you have...More

I would think tis is a new mall with only shops occupied at ground level. Level 2 and above are all unoccupied, which doesn't make the existing boutiques look in a very good shopping environment.

One of shopping mall with unique architecture..there is some luxury brand outlet there. In my opinion, its not a very good place to hangout, just shopping maybe..

Except for an YVL, Versace and Dior store, there's nothing here... You are MUCH better off at the nearby Vincom Center, Parkson, or the slightly farther away Saigon Center

There are several luxury brands here such as Dior, Hermes and Bottega Veneta but most of them are empty. Unless you are going for those particular shops, nothing much else to see.

The mall is for 2/3 rd empty but the shops that are open all seem to be having a close-of-business sale. Calvin Klein and Nike e.g. were offering 80% discounts. Not sure how long this will last though...

What a dissapointment ! Few shops open = hardly no people. Those shops that were open, the prices far to High even though it was sale season. Don't waste your time going there.
