Realistically this can be done in less than an hour. Entry is 200,000 dong (approx £6). Impressive architecture and various stages to the tomb which take you through to the restricted access burial site at the end of the tomb. There are beautiful flower gardens with many butterflies. One criticism: it would be great if there was slight more information... More

Came here on a moped, had to pay 10,000vnd to park and a further 100,000vnd to enter the tomb (per person). Was a nice walk around and got some good photos. Not sure it was worth the money but passed some time while in Hue.

This is the best in 3 distinct tombs; each with their own qualities yet for us this was the highlight. Adore the quiet garden with it's setting. In the event that you would pick one this ought to be it.

Worth the short trip out of town to visit. Amazing gardens and lakes. Be sure to journey along the paths all the way. We noticed some tourists only exploring near the front entry and we mentioned to them to keep exploring. My favourite out of the 3 most popular tombs if you only have a short time to visit this... We went there after a disappointing visit to the imperial citadel. What a contrast! This place is very peaceful, the ponds are stunning and there's an overall feeling of something special. Well worth the visit and spending a couple of hours here.

We were not expecting nothing close to what the tomb is: having visited Egypt and the tombs, we were expecting a small room and a quick visit (5-10min each max) but the tomb is a real palace were the Emperor wanted to spend his vacations; so, a place to enjoy during his life and to, then, spend eternity. The beauty... More

We only had half a day to explore Hue so we chose our sights carefully. We were told by the locals the top 3 tombs to visit are Minh Mang, Khai Dinh and (if I remember correctly) Tu Duc. We chose Minh Mang and Khai Dinh - they are both beautiful as well as closely located to each other. You... More

Interested story of this dynasty. I can feel a lot of similarity of Chinese culture and design. It is grate to know that this area didn't effect or damage by the War

This is one attraction that any visitors to Hue should not miss. However one should spent enough time to visit this attraction as there are many exhibits and a big park to explore. The vast mausoleum complex and various exhibits signify the strength, power and grandeur of this Emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. This attraction is accessible only by road.
