Came here as part if a tour and I was surprised at how much I liked it. You get to see some of the emperors clothing and any other interesting artifacts. This is not far from the Imperial Citys main entrance.

If you like antiquities from Asia, this is a museum worth visiting. It's not big, just a couple of rooms. It's also very close to the citadel, which makes it easy to get there. The pieces on the exhibition are very exquisite and nice, from porcelain to enamel, from wood to lacquer. And the wooden building that contains the exhibit... More

Entry is included in the ticket to the imperial city and it is nearby, thus it is very much much worth a quick visit. It is a small but interesting collection. I would not be too bothered to go if it was a 'stand alone' attraction though.

Place is nice to visit, in link with the Royal citadela it gives a complex insight into royal family of Nguyen, clothes, furniture, tableware and accessories used at the time with a touch of French influence spread through-out whole Indo-china region.

We went to see this museum as it was included in the ticket to the imperial city. We actually came here the following day but it wasn't a problem. After visiting the main sight, I found it a little bit boring, however there were some nice artifacts such as old furniture and replicas of royal gowns. All commentaries are written... More

Taking a look back in time at how the 'others' lived was very interesting. The exhibits here are beautiful and well presented.

Been here as a part of a tour through Hue. Glad to have seen it, but honestly wouldn't have visited if it was not in the tour.

This is a small museum but quite good. Can enter as part of the citadel tour. Needs more explanation on exhibits. Set in nice grounds with cannons.

Pretty cool to see all of the antiques that date back many many years over the history of royalty. You get access to hear with the ticket you buy to access the Citadel

The museum is in a nicely maintained building constructed over one century ago. The collection is excellent. Definitely worth a visit.
