Nice view of the Perfume river at sunset and sunrise

You can take nice pictures at sunset and sunrise over the Perfume river. Also surprising to watch all these motorbikes incessantly crossing the bridge.

This is a bridge which connects the north part of the town and la Citadel with the south where most hotels and tourists are. It easy and save to walk it to reach la Citadel. It has a lot of traffic and offer some good views.

Great for people watching. heading south, you'll see the distinctive round boat pier. Walking towards the hotel Saigon Morin and Imperial hotel, this little old lady carrying bags on a bamboo pole suddenly squatted down on the pavement to pee through her slit trousers. Cars, bikes and rickshaws whizzing by on this busy thoroughfare. A slice of real life....

It's not the most exciting thing, but a walk across the bridge and back is fun and you get a good view of the river and the town. And, with luck, the chance to photograph a few locals going about their business on the river. And it's free!

One of the main bridges in Hué. There is a walkway either side of the traffic so it is safe for pedestrians. Beautifully lit by night. There are boats moored to the south-east side for trips to the Thien Mu Pagoda, a busy market (beyond the co-op) to the north-east side, a park to the north-west side from which you... More

Stayed at the Hotel Saigon Morin and was really happy to be given a room with a balcony overlooking the bridge. It was fantastic to sit there drinking a beer watching the bridge change colours

This bridge looks lovely at night time and is a very busy bridge across the perfume river. Not so much to look at during the day.

This is one of the main bridges across the Perfume River. It is pretty at night as lights illuminate the structure, changing from pink, blue, white etc. It is what's under the bridge that I liked more. This is the location of The Ancient Town Restaurant and the Night markets. Went there during the day, all open from 3.00 pm... More

The waterfront area is really nice to walk along at night anyway as there are food stalls and people chatting-watch out for students desperate to practise their English too. The bridge changes colour

We had been to the markets and then walked over thisbridge in the evening to go to the night markets and then back to our hotel. Very pretty walk with views of the floating restaurant nearby, also lit up.
