The is one of my favourite places in Baku. the story behind this and how well maintained it is just stuns me! the silence is rather eerie but so peaceful at the same time..a must visit!

While the Martyr's lane itself was of little interest to us, the nearby modern mosque was. The mosque is literally dwarfed by the amazing Flame towers and provides a very interesting photo-op of old vs. new.

Its a burial area of the people who lost thier lives in the war with Armenia. You can pay respect to those who lost thier life in this war. Its located up in the way to the flame tower.

This site is best viewed with a narrative which we received from our tour tour guide. Without her explanation it would have been uninteresting.
