APT is a very professional company and good value for money. We've travelled with them before (Budapest to Amsterdam) and we were impressed...but, I would only recommend their Cambodia/Vietnam tour to people who may have never been to Asia before... otherwise you may be bored silly by the end of it. It all started well (in Siem Reap) and the... More

The cruise was well organised and the staff were excellent. The WiFI on board was very poor and very frustrating. There was no TV even though there was a TV in the room and we were in many locations where obviously TV reception was available, I did not go on vacation to watch TV but it would have been nice... From the first meal on board, they were already out of stock of our favourite wines. Every meal saw less and less available wines, until there were no decent wines at all - less than 10% of wines on the list. They also ran out of the favourite beer 333 after 2 days. A 'food and beverages' manager joined the... More

Have just returned from a fantastic trip which included a Mekong river cruise from Vietnam to Siem reap Cambodia. The Javerman was a comfortable boat, food was good and staff outstanding! Cabin was well appointed and comfortable. Interesting and informative guides for trips ashore. Would highly recommend this river cruise

We returned only a week ago from a tour/cruise package of Viet Nam and Cambodia. This included a wonderful seven days aboard the Mekong Navigator, a luxurious riverboat, that sailed from just below Saigon up to Cambodia, near Siem Reap, which is inland. The ship was superbly comfortable and inviting. The lounges, airy outside porches, dining room, and state rooms... More

Christmas-New Years 2016-2017 I cannot say enough great things about this trip. Every time I thought it couldn’t get any better, it did. Fun every day. The Avalon Siem Reap riverboat was small, only 31 passengers. After one night on the boat the staff remembered everyone’s names. How did they do that? One of the many highlights of the trip... More

Stepping onto the Jahan is like stepping back in time. The ship has a British Colonial theme, with rich hardwoods, antique brass, and silk upholstered furnishings. Our standard main deck cabin was spacious at aprox. 30 Sq.M with a private balcony, all the modern amenities including an instant espresso machine and a cozy sitting area with loveseat and vanity. There was... More

We took a 7 day cruise from near Siem Reap to near Saigon. The staff on the boat are wonderful, so lovely and helpful, and the food is excellent. To be honest, 7 days can seem a little claustrophobic unless you love socialising with a smallish group. I would recommend taking the shorter trip from Phnom Pehn which would allow... More

This cruise was excellent in every way. The ship is exactly what you'd hope for and the staff were outstanding: friendly and helpful. Mr Thoia, the cruise director was the key to everything. His good humour and enthusiasm are infectious. The food was generally good and drink was paid for in the package. Many excursions are laid on but of... More

The Mekong River – Me” means “Mother” and “Kong” means “River– is the 12th longest river in the world. It lazes along along for 2,800 miles, enroute picking up silt from China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia, before splitting into myriad appendages. The rich alluvial soil in those distributaries and the rain helped make Vietnam’s southern plain the rice and... More
