Nice stroll and good restaurants

We were twice on the quay. First on day time to have glimpse on the mighty Mekong river. The second time in the night. We went to one the restaurants in the side roads.

You must take a walk along the Quay if visiting the city as despite the river looking dirty it's still a place that captures the real feel of the city. The Quay is still frequented by the locals who freely throw their litter around but also the many tourist cafes, bars, restaurants and hotels. I visited the city many years... More

Great place to sit and watch the people go by. River cruises leave from here and restaurants face onto the quay. There is also plenty of seating if you just want to sit down and watch !

This is a lovely way to get about in a cooling breeze and away from traffic - a nice walk and providing access to the Palace and so forth in a relaxed manner.

Well, the river is dirty, but you can walk past it. A lot of locals gather there with kids in the evening.

Walking along the Quay may be relaxing for one person, nothing special for the other one.I always liked the breeze thats there most of the time. Most of the biz along the street are upmarket, world franchise like BK and other already having their share. The traffic on this street is massive..so having a drink open air on the strip means... Walked for a little bit during one day in the city. Nice views, didn't see much to keep me here for too long.

I stroll around here few times, But I goota say, the best was in the morning while sunrise over the orther side of Mekong River. You can watch Cambodian getting up and being ready for the day. Praying, some playing music, some feeding the birds.children running around. Some taking a bath in the river, fishing etc. It really comes to... More

Nice place to take an early evening stroll while in Phnom Penh. Crossing the street to get to the walking area can be an adventure during rush hour. Great river views and lots of families out walking or eating.

After arriving at 4 am we walked from the bus and watched the sun rise here . Was nice to see people exercising in so many different ways . Lots of boats coming down the river.
