A great view to see sunrise

I wake up early and wait for the sun. The sunrise is so beautiful and colorful. In the night there are many couples aroundm

The reason we chose our hotel was because I wanted it near to a river. And this one caught my eye when we got to the city. Well, every city has its own place where people can take some time alone, reflect, and appreciate their surroundings. I came here on the afternoon and saw scenes like other tourists walking, family... More

This is always a popular walk day or night whilst you will see many people just strolling along and some even exercising during the early evening such a great place to sit and relax then go for a night cap drink ...

Sisowath Quay might be a pleasant stroll during daylight hours but everything changes after dusk. Dozens of pathetic old foreign men with barely legal girls in tow are a sad sight, as are resident expats haunting the bars who seem permanently angry about all the tourists on 'their patch'. Motorbikes continually block your access and you're forced to run the... More

It's on the river so I stopped while riding my motor bike. It's nice area for relaxing, reading or walking.

With our ship docked, we decided on a short stroll as we had the morning free. The quayside looked inviting, vegetation growing, flowers, some trees, littered but cleaner than most other areas of the City. The Quay is located parallel to Sisowath Boulevard and is situated along the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap River. In the evening we... More

On Saturday night I went looking for some local food and a walk about Sisowath Quay. Sisowath Quay is the main road boarding the river. It is one of the “happening’ spots in Phnom Penh…..nighclubs, bars, wide areas for walking and enjoying the evening. I purchased an amazing dinner from one of the stands….noodles and chicken, deep fried prawns, fresh... More

We were very lucky the time we arrived they had the festival of water. The Quay is nice, it could have been cleaner. We were surprised with all the plastic bottles that were just thrown in the sea. You can see a lot of monks walking around. It's a beautiful place especially during the evening.

If you want to take a boat then this is the place. I spent a bit of time here just wathcing the locals. The Mekong River cruise boats dock here. Restaurants on the other side of the road.

Calm on week days, crowded on weekends, this promenade is a must for a look on the Tonle Sap River and the merger with the Mekong River, especially on the new pedestrian part on the East end, so quiet!
