Took a year and a half to renovate one of the bridges.Traffic is flowing again and both brides are working. I know it's a bridge, but try cycling every day using only one!

As bridges go, it's a fine bridge. It crosses a river. It's well built. It takes traffic across it. It does what it says on the tin.

It really is just another bridge over the river and was built in 1966. Busy with trucks mainly, the bridge is approx. 700 meter span over the Tonle Sap River. On tour ad pointed out by our guide in passing.

The older one was built by the Japanese, the newer one by the Chineses. in 2017, the Japanese bridge will be closed to all traffic due to long overdue renovation.

Unless of course you like the smell of feaces and stale urine. The stairwells are a disgusting and dmelly mess. Rubbish everywhere. Cambodians should be ashamed of this.

This busy bridge can be crossed on foot. Once you get to the other side, turn to the right and walk along the riverside. Make sure you checkout the Muslim area. Beautiful mosques and temples to be found everywhere.

There is nothing interesting about this bridge unless we're talking about the number of people who try to kill themselves there.
They should have security on the bridge to stop all the broken hearts from jumping.
If you are going to be visiting Phnom Penh, there is no reason at all for you to visit this bridge. The person who put it in this list of things to see in Phnom Penh must be the most boring or most morbid person ever.
