The central market is huge and has multiple entrances, so try to remember a landmark when you enter. The vendors are very close together with incredibly narrow aisles and they are very competitive, so be prepared to haggle. The facilities here aren't very good so be warned! But it's a great place to get photos and enjoy the bustle of... More

Went there at night when there was entertainment and thousands of people. Items to buy are the same as any market fake clothing and watches with cheap prices.

Very cheap goods for shopping such clothes, accessories, local foods and electronics. You can negotiate the price with sellers for the best price.

Big market place with many things to buy but most are selling similar items. Nothing much to talk about

Crazy French colonial market. Check out quickly the jewellery area and go straight to enjoy the food section. You will see many things that you've imagined could end on your plate but always hope they wouldn't!

Lots of stalls in a surprisingly cool building which has a unique and very interesting design that seems to let the hot air rise and escape. You can get everything here including getting lost but it's all a part of the adventure. Great looking fruit and veggies and fresh seafood, I just wanted to buy up and start cooking but... More

If you want kitchen supplies or household items, come here. They do have some souvenir things and jewelry etc, but it isn't necessarily high quality stuff. The layout is cool and I always love seeing veggie/meat/fish markets, but for shopping shopping as a tourist I did not find much that I would want to buy.

It's full of colour, different products and looks very genuine. It was very well organized and well put with large corridors. For all market lovers it is worth the visit.

The food around the market is cheap. I ate myself full with 1.5$, fried noodles and beef with an egg. The other night I did the same a bit farther. If you like street food, you might like it here. Out of the three coconuts I bought today only one was fresh and not fermented. That I bought from the... More
