This museum shows almost whole country in miniature, with landscapes carefully created and important buildings constructed. There's also separate pavilion with Astana model, some examples of traditional homes in cave, miniature "wonders of the world" and a kind of history/ethnography museum. What I personally missed was more information about all that objects. I'm not very good in geography, so a... More

If you have free time and nothing to do, but not really a "must", I just dont recommend it when its cold, because the tour could be long.

This place isn't exactly fantastic, but this is why I gave it a generous 4 star review: if it's your first time in KZ, this attraction will give the sense of context what the country is like. The mountains, the cities, the Caspian lake (yeah it's not a sea). Gives you a glance of the whole country. I really believe... More

I ended up enjoying this place more than I expected myself to. This is basically a miniature world of Kazakhstan, albeit somewhat disorganised. The quality of the miniatures is not mind-blowingly intricate, but I also don't think that is the point of the place either. With Kazakhstan being the 9th largest country in the world, there are a lot of... More

This miniature park that hosts most attractions of Kazakhstan is certainly interesting as it provides a quick overview over all regions of this large country that you otherwise might miss (e.g. For me particularly the mausoleums in Mangistau were interesting to see as a model). However, one has to admit that most models look quite poorly made and certainly are... More

I wish I had gone to this one on my first day in Astana. It's like a miniture world of Kazachstan. It's mostly outside but the depiction of Astana is inside. I wish I had seen this the first day because it has a nice overview of all the great and interesting buildings. Had I known about some of them,... More

It was nice to see the size of the country and the variety. But difficult to follow since numbers were not easily followed and did not come in numerical order

Very informative museum on Kazakhstan history. There are a lot of little makets of real buildings devided by regions. Should be interesting for little children. Entrance fee 250 tenge (2$). You may take a guide who will explain details - 200 tenge(1.5$).
