Nice square to visit, sit and walk around. You can eat and drink in the restaurants around the square. Visit the State Museum, If and when it reopens. And from this square you can walk to almost every other attraction and sight in town. Bishkek...More

I would say that’s about it, there’s a large flag, guarded by two soldiers that change occasionally and a statue it the center. It’s nice to take some pictures of the above, so spend 10 minuets for the pictures and that’s it. You will most...More

If you want to see the Soviet ghost to come to the Ala-Too square. The splendid architecture is going to impress you with it unimpressive architecture. Blocks of cement and crowds of photographers are going to surround you with love and attention.

The site is pretty spacious and surrounded by established and historic buildings. Near to an amusement park and some other important museums. A small walkaround the statue and flag will do.

This huge square in the middle of downtown Bishkek serve as an excellent landmark. Has a very Soviet feel to it, think flagpoles and statues.
