This is a lovely shop offering a wide range of handmade and sustainable products. The quality is very good and there are items at a variety of prices. It was also great to see additional information about the origins of the products.

The large variety of items here are made by village and hill tribe people and so of course you would be supporting alocal workforce and communities by shopping here. There's a good selection of textiles, bomb recovery items - jewellery, cutlery, ornaments, keyrings-, soft toys, scarves and shawls etc.
There is good information provided about the provenance of the pieces.

Everything is nice and meaningful, very nice objects, most of them made with recycled materials, empowering communities in villages. You buy because you like the objects, not only because you want to help villages!

Saoban is a shop selling hand made jewelry, clothes and many other handicrafts. It is a relaxing place to shop and the owner is very informative. The shop supports local artisans (and especially women) and by buying here you know your money will support these communities. You may find similar things elsewhere at a cheaper price but by shopping here you know that the producers are receiving a fair price for their products and the quality is very good. Support the Lao artisans and shop here!

This is a fantastic shop because the handricrafrs are genuinely made in Laos. They have a variety of items from jewelry to bags/purses and shawls. A great variety! They also have items made out of the casings from bombies found on properties in the northern parts of Laos. Great stop for gifts for others or yourself!

Saoban was arguably the best place to shop in Vientiane as the goods were well made and reasonably priced while each purchase supports rural communities in Lao.
I won't say more and will let my photos do the talking. Cheers
