I spent an enjoyable hour or so here with a Loa friend. There are lots of large statues . Although it is called Buddha Park most of the statues seem to be Hindu. Good photo opportunities too.

If you have time this is fun to visit. Not worth the 50USD we were quoted by hotel and not even the 200,000kip for a tuk tuk. But the 14 bus is comfortable air conditioned and fast enough. And takes you directly there and back...More

Located about 25km from the city, it was a very curious and bizzare sight but nonetheless we enjoyed this little excursion there. We took a local bus from the Bus Station, But No14, and it only cost 6,000 Kip, and the journey was about over...More

Though it is a long drive through some potholed roads, it is worth a visit, seeing the collection of Buddha statues. Also climbing the tower there is a must do, to get a panoramic view of the statues

Took bus #14 from the morning market area for 6000 kip each person. The park costs 5000kip. Art work pretty stunning. Buddhist with a Hindu tradition. Very good to visit, especially if you take the bus and not join a tourist group. The bus btw...More

Since u r in Vientiane another extra day will be more relaxing. Going around Vientiane in a motorcycle is more convenient but for me renting a bicycle is good enough for me. Going to Buddha Park by bus is just as easy. Take... More
