Visiting Khunjerab pass was always on my must do list. I was able to make it in July 2014 with my spouse & 2 kids (age 9&6). Beautiful view into China! A great road trip along the Karakoram highway to the border following the river. Air is quite thin as its 4,693 m (15,397 ft) above sea level and can get very chilly but a must do if you are visiting the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

If you want to have a trip to Khunjerab National Park. First you have to take a van from gilgit and reach passu. After that it took 3hr to reach Khunjerab Zero Point. A beautiful view.
