I did not visit the museum as I was taking a open bus ride through the city. The museum is suppose o be the largest museum in the country and houses many artifacts from the Kandyan rulers.

This museum has nice architecture and is very well maintained. Its quite small and one can finish seeing this is one hour or less. Good to know about Sri lankan history and there are some nice artefacts on display.
