Look at the face of the statue. Is it the face of Rudaki? It looks like the face of the "president" or as we called him, "The Premier".

Rudaki park is a great place to go no matter what day of the week. But NOTHING beats Rudaki on a weekend! There are weddings nearly every weekend with live music and a fun atmosphere. I was part of a group of American students, but the locals loved getting us involved in their dancing or singing during the wedding. It... More

The mosaic in the arc is pretty amazing. But so poorly illuminated during the evening. When he roses are blooming it's a great place to go for a walk.

Large Park with some monuments and fountains. Unfortunately, the fountains did no work during my visit. Very pleasant walks around.

This park gives a good information on the history of this Central Asian country. I visited Dushanbe 30 years ago, it improved a lot, but still the same friendly city

The park itself is nice enough...nice benches, waterfalls, areas to find shade, and, of course, if you like Soviet-style monuments, there's one right here for you, too. I came here in the afternoon, but I... More

Nice park with flower beds, trees, water features and a big statue of Rudaki himself under nice mosaic arch (see photo). A good place to unwind after the working day.

Wait till the heat of the day is gone to enjoy this nice green park. The water fountains give the park a nice breeze and you see the dedication people put into all the flowers and trees. You also get a great view to the Palace of Nation or the Flagpole. We loved green Dushanbe.
