Having been an aficionado of Tbilisi and all things Georgian, I became most attached to their TV tower, and since then have looked out for these landmarks wherever I get to. And, it must be said, the former Soviet Union has built some beauties.

Although only seeing this from the train whilst departing Tashkent for Almaty it certainly looks impressive. wished we had time to visit during our stay in Tashkent - a regrettable missed opportunity !!!
