First time Ive taken a tour when visiting a country. Roadrunner were easy to deal with, flexible and the quality of transport and accommodation was great. I would recommend.

We booked a trip for 4 days 5 nights bus tour to Cappadocia, Ephesus & Pamukkale. The whole booking transaction was safe. Sakir Answered all our queries on mail. No "surprises" when I reached their office in old city Istanbul. He greeted me with a smile and he already knew my name [I was the only "Hindistani" traveller for the... More

Our group of four booked a two week tour of Turkey via email from Australia. Osman of Road Runner Travel agency in Istanbul was very accommodating with our plans. He was always happy to answer questions and helped us organise a wonderful trip which included accommodation, internal flights, bus trips, airport/bus/hotel transfers and some day tours, all for a very... Last year I went to Istanbul. My trip was amazing, so I decided to go back. I asked for Muharrem since he helped me last summer. I appreciated his hard work and dedication. If you go to Turkey, you have to see the Bosphorus bridge. The view at night is breathtaking. I highly recommend Muharrem. He is an honest and... More

I have found Road runner to be very professional. Specially Muharrem, who organized all my trip to different cities of Turkey by Bus. I highly recommend Muharrem’s proficiency and costumer focused. My trip to Turkey would have never been so good without his help. It was really worth for the money I spent.

The service provided is very efficient, while retaining great services throughout the entire journey starting from the pre-planning to the very end where we leave from Ataturk airport. Even if you don't know anything about Turkey and Greece, you can always get the best travelling schedule out of here. Tell them the number of days you're staying in those countries,... More

I was travelling with an infant and was worried about my tour to turkey as I was planning many cities in small time. But the way road runners arranged the tour was fantastic. They even customized the tour as per my wish. During the trip they treated us great and all things were well managed. All things they provided as... More

Overall, I'd say the company does a fairly good job of shepherding tourists around. Service was friendly and prompt. we had a wonderful two weeks in Turkey and Greece. We are independent travelers and thought we should have some guidance for this experience with our 14-year old grand daughter, and the limited time. There were some annoyances such as not... More

It was a really organized and wonderful trip from Istambul to Goreme, kapadokia, and to Pamukkale. The price is fair, the service is really good (they provide tour guides, lunch, baloom assistence, etc..). Highly recommended!

We just returned from a trip to Turkey and our Cappadocia visit was organized by Osman from Road Runner Travels. I must say that everything went off with clockwork precision and we had a wonderful trip, my only regret is that we couldn't stay an extra day due to time constraints. Osman was extremely helpful and also gave the most... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
