I first learnt of this place in Lonely Planet and decided to try a full body massage as a means of relaxation after 2 weeks of travel around the country. Zeki was really professional and did find out about the stiffness I had around my shoulders and upper back (most probably from carrying my backpack for too long) and he... More

I heard about this bath from friends and I'm happy I went there. Private bath with skilled masseur. I have gone to other Turkish and Korean baths and the quality always varies. I really like full body scrubs and this one was about 50%... but still very good.

Visited this Spa and met with Zeki. He was very professional masseur, put me at easy and gave a great foam bath, scrub and wash and aromatherapy service. I paid 165TL for 90 minutes, an affordable alternatives to some of the other local Hamams. The place appeared near and clean, the private Hamam had it's own chamber with heated circular... More

The hotel offers perfect amenities for a traveler. Rooms are updated and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast on the roof overlooking the Hagia Sophia is breathtaking. The cook is fantastic. Would stay here again!

The massage therapist Zeki is simply exceptional and he speaks good English. He found the problem areas in my upper back quickly and worked on them with great care. It was a very relaxing session and I felt totally safe in his hands. I needed a rest afterwards and noticed a definite improvement the second day after the treatment. I... More

I was pleased to enjoy a facial massage from Zeki. I really did not know what to expect but it was really enjoyable and my skin felt and looked fabulous afterward. Thank you, Zeki!

I went in for a foot massage but as I was eight months pregnant Zeki advised against it and offered me a complimentary facial massage instead. He was amazing and the massage was very soothing. Nice, clean and calming atmosphere and we would definitely recommend him. We would surely go back for a massage if we visit Istanbul.

We come here for a foot massage, but had to wait for the masseur at the terrace bar for an hour for him to arrive at the hotel - which was brilliant! The view from the roof terrace over Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque is amazing. The 30 min foot massage itself was good and reasonably priced at 25€.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
