this is a great morning or afternoon trip with a great static display with great interest. Would also be good for kids as there is a park to keep them occupied after the planes

We visited here yesterday. 7.5 Turkish Lira entrance fee is ridiculously good value for what is a total history of the Turkish Air Force. Artefacts, Uniforms and a fantastic collection of nicely preserved aircraft. Nice little gift shop and cafe and really friendly staff. A...More

This museum has everything an air force museum needs. It has plenty of jets on stands, displays, and a lot of phantom jets, which are still being used by Turkey. Its a good visit for kids and plane curious tourists.

Very interesting place if you are interested in aviation like me. Its not a big place and can be visited on the way to visit atatürk airport for example.

I first visited the museum back in Oct'2010; unfortunately at that time there was an ongoing restoration and didn't manage to get in. There was no indication on the museum's web site (it is in Turkish anyway) and the Tourist Information Office downtown informed us...More
