While the place look decent, the service was rushed and rough. A couple of day before I did another hammam (Cagaloglu), and had the same exact service done (It's 155TL while Cemberlitas is 125). Cagaloglu was much much more thorough and complete. They used a...More

I went to the hamam alone. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are professional and friendly. However it does get very busy during the day so I had to cancel my oil massage. If you decide to visit allow plenty of time.

Fabulous experience to go to a hammam that has been operating for five centuries! Very good and friendly service. Luxurious experience. Would definitely go again.

Based on other reviews I decided on visiting this hammami. Being very familiar with body work I was very underwhelmed by the quality and timing of the scrub, soap wash and massage. The hammami is a beautiful example of Ottoman architecture but the experience which...More

Our hotel was near this hamam and the prices were not so high. We went there late at night at 10 pm, there were not so many visitors and it felt really nice and peaceful. Me and my mom enjoyed it and we were pampered...More

I had expected the place to be slightly more luxurious, but I guess that's not always the case with old buildings. The bath itself was an experience. I had come at a busy time so it felt a bit rushed, and not very relaxing. There...More

I've been coming to Istanbul for two years and I've always been very skeptical to visit a Hamam. I've heard a lot of positive things about it, but never saw giving it a try myself. My boyfriend finally convinced me to do so and I'm...More

Right off the bat I am telling you it is not a bargain. You probably can find somewhere else cheaper, but if it is your first time I recommend it. The speak enough English to explain what's going to happen. It is clean. They give...More

Ok so this place is far from 5 star from a decor perspective. BUT .... sometimes you go to places because they are authentic and you leave with a sense that you've almost experienced a ritual, rather then experienced something made for a tourist. That's...More

We went here as a family and it was amazing. My 12 year old son was reluctant but after we started he loved it. We just did the self service my wife did the traditional massage with the scrub. So much history.

The steam's purpose is to get the skin ready for the scrubbing. So I would recommend you to not to skip it. Don't worry, inside is really not that hot or much steamy that you hardly see someone. Also right outside of the big... More
