ln Sultanahmet it was building constructed above the outer wall of of Topkapı Palace for the Sultan to watch processions.

Alay Kosku was built in the 16th century as a small pavilion or lookout post from where the Ottomans could look out onto the area just outside the palace and probably ceremonies or parades. The turreted structure is just along the outer walls of the Topkapi palace.

Alay Köşkü is located in Sultanahmet area of Fatih district,just in the heart of touristic attractions in the centre.Used to be as viewing point of Topkapı Palace for the Sultan passing military troops through the walls of the city. Still in very good condition after the renovation and now it is serving as a Museum and library under the name... More
