Led-i Derya is a restaurant with cracking views and a variety of delicious courses on the menu. Don’t be fouled by the nondescript entrance and small lift. Great staff and reasonably priced menu. You must book if you want a table with a view.

My husband and I were staying nearby and decided to walk the uphill/downhill climb off of Istiklal Street. (Even the walk through the crowded street and alley way was a fun experience.) I found the place online so wasn't sure what to expect. I will...More

Besides the great view we had a superb meal. The marinated beef salad as a starter was excellent and I highly recommend the Bosphorus kebab and to finish the Chocolate soufflé with lavender ice-cream. It is not cheap but well worth it. It was a...More

I feel like we must have eaten at a different restaurant than the other reviewers... but we were at Leb i Derya, Richmond. The place is all style and no substance. The food is presented elegantly, but the quality was awful. The meat was dry,...More

Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal
Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night
and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights,
shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of
people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive
Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of
the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned
restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening
