My favorite shopping center in Istanbul. Visited twice in different trips to Istanbul because I like it’s aesthetic that seems to combine modernity with nature. I also like how walking around on all the floors is open to the environment so I don’t feel walled in like other shopping centers. I’m not a fan of shopping but I do like... More

Kanyon is a place where you would find a different breed of people that think that they deserve the best, exclusive and expensive of all. They have a different jargon where locals in other places may find difficulties to communicate. You may love them and hate them at the same time. They eat at a group of restaurants in this... More

Very fine selection of shops and restaurants. The views within are incredible. The metro takes you to the mall. M2: Levent Station is a couple of minutes walk. There is a connection from within the mall from thr -2 level.

The mall can be accessed from inside Levent Metro station. Not too many shops and my least favorite compared to Cevahir and Ozdilek.

Frankly, shopping malls are not place of attraction due to their compact designs and unhealthy atmospheres as well as lack of fresh air and green area. However, the Kanyon Shopping Mall in Levent/Istanbul offfers a nice combination of urban life, fresh air, and a piece of green cityscape. In addition to the historical and natural beauties of Istanbul, the Kanyon... More

If you don't mind breathing filthy air from cigarettes, you can go there. Because it's a little open to the sky, they treat the space like a really open one, so everyone is smoking. This is horrible: I got really soaked up in cigarettes smell and my hair and clothes caught the bad smell for long- I kept smelling it... More

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
