Beautiful Ceramics and Jewelry

Many of the ceramics here are handmade and hand painted by local artists, including Gulcin herself. Service and hospitality are a hallmark of this beautiful shop.

One of the difficulties when traveling to another country is finding items that are made in the country. There is nothing I dislike more than turning something over to find out it is made in China...... unless of course I am in China! Gulcin and Yasin carry beautiful handmade ceramics painted by local artists and Gulcin herself, silver and gold... More

I would definitely recommend this shop. I moved to Selçuk three years ago and have been to all of the souvenir shops over the years but always end up coming back to this one. It's a lovely shop with plenty of choice and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and by no means pushy. They have beautiful ceramics, pretty... More

Have been visiting Gulcin and husband in their shop for many years now. They offer very beautiful ceramics and jewellery of the best quality, at realistic prices for genuine articles. Very kind and friendly people, too. Highly recommended.

We've been visiting Selcuk since 1998 and this is definitely one of the loveliest shops you can find there. The people who run the shop are very knowledgable about the different gem stones and pottery they sell, and the owner paints many of the tiles and bowls herself. Their prices are excellent and you always know that the quality is... More

I really enjoyed this shop! I found unique one of a kind hand made items that I did not see anywhere else in Turkey! I found a beautiful necklace and the owner custom fitted it for me. Both owners were sweet lovely people and the sales staff were not pushy! A great place to find gifts for others or oneself!

On our 1st day in Selcuk, we were walking around after lunch and ended up in Celsus Ceramic. Gulcin and her lady assistant were very nice and pleasant to deal with - no hard sell, which was a nice introduction to Turkey, our first day in the country. She has beautiful handmade jewelry and ceramic items which she hand paints... More

This shop has the most incredible selection of jewelry, which is all absolutely beautiful and unique so you know that nobody else will be wearing the same piece. It also has lovely ceramics in a whole selection of colours and other nice souvenirs. I especially liked the waterpipes and I got a smaller one which I could easily fit in... More
