access to the beach is precarious. a lot of stairs. does not have access for people with disabilities or difficulties. It has two swimming pools (adult and child) very good. the bathrooms and changing rooms were very bad. there are no doors on the showers. cleaning was not good.

This is one of the three beaches, all run by Palestinians, which are open to the public. Since we were travelling with a guide, we did not have to pay the excessive entrance fees. However, we were expected to shop in the boutique. There is a changing room and showers, which do not seem to be very clean and neat. There is also a bar on the way to the beach. This is located about 100 meters away from the buildings. Swimming in the Dead Sea is a great pleasure. For those who believe in the healing properties of mud, there are plenty of them. On the beach itself you can also spray the salt or mud. But the shower afterwards is irreplaceable. According to our guide, Neve Midbar Beach is the best option at the northern end of the Dead Sea. But the restoration of the beach is necessary in two ways.

Our ETS Tour included a stop at Neve Midbar Beach so that we group could have a Dead Sea experience. The site has facilities that include showers, bathrooms, and a beach bar serving drinks/snacks, as well as shops. Most importantly it has an accessible entrance to the sea and natural mud. There are lots of slippery steps to get down to the beach. Entering the water means tiptoeing over rocks and sliding in squishy mud, just take your time and be careful not to fall. Water shoes might be helpful. Heed the signs of dos and don’ts; especially don’t put your head under and don’t swallow the water! There are plenty of chairs available if you’d rather just people-watch. I don’t have any other Dead Sea beaches to compare this one too, and it did serve the purpose, but if I had a choice, I’d do my homework before settling here. At any rate, don’t miss the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea!

Ended up for lunch at Neve Midbar as part of RSD Trip.
The cost was 65 Shekels each for 7 pieces of stew and 1 Chicken Nugget with salad accompliment.Other choices lwere very limited-Falafel,etc
The rice was cold so was potentially dangerous.
Drinks were extra.
You are obviously paying for the location.
There must be better quality locations.
I have paid more this holiday at other lunch stops, but the quality was much better.
I would NOT come back.

After visiting the Dead Sea resort in neighbouring Jordan we were looking forward to experiencing it from the Israeli side. It was an experience all right. Neve was literally a smelly hole. The smell of sewerage in the change room was overwhelming only slightly challenged by the stink of rancid oil from the restaurant beside it. The lounges were torn and worn out, puddles with mosquito larvae lay beside the pool and the whole place looked like a 70’s resort that has had no love since 1980. If it’s the only option you have to access the Dead Sea then of course take it as that’s an experience not to be missed but if there’s any other possible option then don’t even consider this place.

We found this beach to be a nice way to pass the time in between the mud baths and dips in the sea. It is quite a trek to get to the beach level and there are plenty of steps to navigate. However, it does have showers on the beach itself - which is important to wash chemicals off your skin or face.

Big expectations after climbing Masada and really looked for recreation. Group of 3 families with their eyes wide open entering the "spa". Dirt allover, totally decayed, excrement on ALL bathroom (ladies) floors!!! Even the coke we bought has passed the date - How can it be possible? We stayed one hour, couldn´t stay longer BECAUSE OF THE DIRT!! This place is not worthy the one green spot it got now, but cannot score this horrible place without giving one. But our group really want all people to know - DRIVE PAST THIS PLACE and give your money to someone who cares about your money and truly care about their own business. You do not need this "experience"
