If you have a car, I do recommend that you visit this place. It is near the Egypt boarder and easy to get to by car. Once you arrive you will see a parking slot which would have maps of the Red Canyon. It is not a difficult road (we've taken the shortest one). Please note that there will be... More

Cool! Worth visiting! Could be a bit difficult for obese people. Take your camera to make Martian-like photos!

We were looking for a short hike for the family. A challenge in the Eilat area. The red Canyon is an old favorite. Fun in the 3-4 ladders you need to use to advance down the Canyon, easy walk, beautiful view. Also shade, which is rare in this area. Recommended for little kids and teenagers alike.

A very nice canyon suitable for families, and all that in a short hike. Easy and fun challenges for kids (ladders etc.), amazing colors, desert and hills compact experience. Route is well marked and signs are easy to spot, box at the entrance parking area has a map of the route that you can take with you (at least when... More

The attraction is located approximately 30 minutes from Eilat and makes for a great outing the whole family will enjoy. I recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes as well as a water bottle. The entire tour should take you 30-45 minutes. Beware: there are a few spots that require climbing and walking through narrow pathways.

worth a trip to visit here. Hike through this majestic canyon with walls towering above up to 100 meters in height. Not an easy walk as some there is a bit of climbing both over rocks and steel ladders but definitely a must do.

Close to Eilat and suitable for families. Hiking the Red Canyon is recommended, and doesn't require any special gear.

A very nice Canyon for a pleasant hike with beautiful views of the desert mountains and rocks. There are some spots requiring climbing using metal handles and stairs.
