Some say it is the site of the Last Supper. At the very least it offers great views of the city. You can see the Dead Sea from here. And their is a small museum. Worth the climb? Maybe

we climbed the 200 stairs to the top and the climb was well worth it as at the top there was a breathtaking view of Jerusalem in all directions including the Dead Sea.

From the top of the tower there is a very unique view to all 4 directions. Because the church is situated on the eastern ridge you can see on one side the completely dry Judaea desert on the other the "wet" side of the city....More
