Like the Palmach Museum in Tel Aviv, the Begin Heritage Center offers an excellent hourly presentation which successfully combines the documentary, interactive, and museum elements. But if the former demonstrates how it was hard to make Israel be born again - and what cost it took, the latter shows that it is even more - tragically! - harder to justly... More

The tour of the Menachem Begin Heritage Center Museum is a great presentation of Begin's achievements and struggles. The tour is a combination of a computerized presentation as well as a guide who answers questions. This helped make the experience meaningful and informative.

We went with 4 kids the youngest age was too young but 9+ enjoyed it. Menachem begin had amazing morals and was an active participant in the growth of Israel. Such an important part of israeli history. The 1.5 hour tour flee by.

Interesting if you are interested in the political history of the state of Israel taking into account it is a "national" point of view.

I'm an Israeli that do not belong to Begin's party and yet recommend to visit this excellent museum. It is arranged in a fascinating and attractive way. One hour tour (must coordinate in advance) passed like we just started. And above all it is a must to get acquainted with one of the greatest leader of Israel.

The Begin Museum took you on a series of movies that documented Begin's life. The tour guide just took you from stop to stop and gave you a great insight into his life from Poland to the prime minister of Israel. Very interesting and it was about an hour. We were on a group tour so have no idea of... More

Call ahead for an English tour, but just the view of the old city walls from David's Citdel to Mt Zion while waiting for your tour is worthwhile. This is close to the Scottish Church of St Andrew. Our male guide was excellent and enthusiastic.

If it's the same place you mean, I have seen the Begin museum. It truly explains his lifestyle, his personality, his fabulous leadership and it was a very rewarding experience for me. I loved that man. He made up in every fashion for his shortness. This was a regal leader of the Israeli people. A must see. I've seen it... More

The Menachem Begin Heritage Center is the memorial museum commemorating one of the greatest Jewish leaders of the 20C. It traces the fascinating political journey through the historical events prior to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. The museum is structured with videos, real life documentation and hands on exhibits. Menachem Begin was elected Prime Minister of... More
